The TP.ini file might point to F: Drive in the sample. If you installed the the code or sample into C:, modify with a Notepad editor any references to F: and replace it by whatever Drive you are using.
What you should see when using the TPxxxSample.zip file
First of all make sure that TP uses the Sample Competition
If the top Menu bar does not show C:\comps\Sample then you have to use
SETUP/COMP/LOAD
and select the Sample.ini file.
Which will then load the definitions for the Sample Competition
Then use SETUP/TASK/LOAD
And select either the task01 or task02 directory.
Then press the Load Task button
The Info for that Task gets displayed
If you want you can press the Draw Task button
Use the Pilotdata Menu Item
And select the track from Pilot 83
And press the Score Goal based Task button
You get displayed the track. The white line indicates where the pilot crossed the Start Section.
The dark red line indicates up to where the pilot gets scored.
And the score window gives the result.
Pressing Accept this Score will create a RACE XML entry for the RACE scoring software.
